Product Manager, Advanced Prescription Analytics

The Product Manager will work with a small team led by the Sr. V.P. of Analytic Services, and serve as the subject matter expert on advanced prescription customer analytics research within Adheris, and champion and coordinate major retrospective analysis projects with key clients. This position will drive the approach, analysis, and strategic recommendations for analytics products.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design and execute custom analytics projects.
  • Contribute to the advanced customer prescription analytics and new product development efforts; develop an understanding of customer and market needs and requirements, as well as an understanding of any competitive offerings
  • Grow the advanced customer prescription analytics to support increased business opportunities. Ensure overall client satisfaction and manage client relationships to generate repeat business.
  • Respond to RFPs and develop analytics proposals
  • Provide decision and analytic support in sizing potential prospective advanced customer analytics research opportunities and ensuring their measurability and feasibility.
  • Ensure appropriate use of best-in class analytics research methodologies and research techniques are incorporated in the Adheris analytics products.
  • As required/appropriate, perform hands-on analysis in support of results, including development of conclusions and implications. Interpret, analyze and translate research findings into actionable recommendations
  • Using well-honed interpersonal skills collaborate internally with Data Analysis & Statistics and Business Analytics teams as well as other key Adheris departments to successfully meet project specifications, develop and present project results directly to internal and external clients.
  • Provide Sales support and develop training as needed for products
  • Work across InVentiv Divisions to assess partnership opportunities.

Education

  • MPH/MBA/Ph.D. degree in a relevant area, with a record of strong academic and business achievement

Experience

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical management consulting or other pharmaceutical business analysis field, solid understanding of healthcare industry
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical prescription data
  • Exceptional capacity for quantitative and qualitative analysis, with strong quantitative research analytical skills and experience
  • Experience with statistical and survey analyses a plus
  • Superior problem solving skills; ability to think clearly about business issues and define and evaluate alternative solutions, desire to engage in strategic thinking
  • Effective task management, oral (including presentation) and written communication skills; ability to work with senior leaders and other cross-functional groups to build consensus
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Client Account Relationship/Sales Support Manager

We are seeking a capable and energetic individual who enjoys both working with clients and providing internal sales support to meet needs and manage expectations. Working cooperatively with a team of senior level Business Development professionals, as well as various internal groups (including project management teams) and external client partners, the Client Account Relationship Manager manages client relationships and oversees programs throughout the entire program lifecycle including, design, implementation and refinement. This role requires precise attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, as you will directly support two business development/sales/marketing groups within the company.

Please note: This is a home office based position located in Burlington, MA, and is not a commissioned direct sales role.

Responsibilities

This position provides support in working with both the Retail Pharmacy Account group and Business Development/Sales organizations with the following overall responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day client relationships and respond to client needs
  • Serve as internal advocate for client processes and requirements
  • Resolve program issues
  • Coordinate with multiple internal groups to identify and meet client needs within program framework
  • Track program progress (including sales reporting)

In addition to client-facing activities, some additional specific tasks are as follows:

Business Development/Sales Support

  • Program management from inception through implementation
  • Drafting and tracking proposals and contracts through the internal review process
  • Assist in the preparation of sales decks as needed
  • Preparation of new business proposals for the National Sales Force
  • Sales account detail management
  • Updating weekly and monthly sales reports in Excel
  • Act as the liaison between sales and marketing to send email blasts to clients on new product offerings
  • Disseminate and track sales materials to the sales force as needed

Retail Pharmacy Accounts

  • Develop expertise about existing processes and identify ways to adapt these processes to meet program objectives
  • Communicate program details across multiple internal groups through a variety of channels, including web-based work orders, phone, e-mail, and live meetings
  • Implementing programs in consultation with other team members and internal staff
  • Troubleshoot during the implementation process
  • Follow-up with pharmacy chains on small data requests
  • Monitor retailer volume week to week
  • Quality Control checks during multiple parts of the process
  • Recommend process improvements for more efficient timelines

Qualifications

If you have been working in Sales Support, Marketing, home office Account Management, in an agency, or in other related areas, you may be the perfect fit for this position, with the following specific qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ yrs of prior experience in a role working with Business Development/Sales professionals and/or clients preferred
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • A flair for marketing
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing approach and excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, strong in cultivating relationships (e.g. diplomacy, flexibility, adaptability, can-do attitude, win-win approach)
  • Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a big plus
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus
