  Pharmaceutical Account Manager

We are seeking a bright and energetic service-oriented individual who enjoys working with clients to meet needs and manage expectations. The Pharmaceutical Account Manager manages client projects from design to implementation and tracks ongoing projects through completion. You will work cooperatively with a team of account managers to provide support, expertise, and service to a number of pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining day-to-day client relationships and responding to client needs
  • Coordinating with multiple internal groups to identify and meet client needs within program framework
  • Implementing programs in consultation with other team members and internal staff
  • Tracking program progress
  • Delivering status reports and presentations to clients

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant prior work experience required; pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a plus
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Experience working with quantitative data and financial information; contract experience a plus
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically on a monthly basis

      Research Analyst/SAS Programmer

    The Research Analyst/SAS Programmer will work with a team led by the Sr. V.P. of Analytic Services. The Analysis Group provides vital support to all other key functions of the company: research and development, marketing, finance, and operations. Team members analyze compliance programs, form hypotheses, dissect patient data, evaluate program performance, and explore trends. The Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for generating and analyzing reports for management and pharmaceutical clients. Specific responsibilities include running analytical reports in SAS and Excel, assisting in the development of methodology, and collaborating with analysts in the interpretation of results.

    Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates will have superior problem solving and analytic skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple projects. The successful candidate also enjoys a fast paced work environment with many time deadlines and has an interest in the pharmacoeconomic sector, a strong knowledge of SAS software, and exceptional personal qualities.

  • Proficiency in writing maintainable, supportable, well-documented SAS code
  • Proficiency in SAS macro programming and SQL
  • Experience with advanced data manipulation techniques required
  • Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required to assess the quality of output and investigate potential issues
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Ability to interact with and respond to varied levels of management, and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
